JYJ Album—Cannot Sell Them Because There Are None Left
Within 2 days of release, 50,000 copies sold.
Because of a lack of supply, additional production planned
Group JYJ’s first Korean-language album In Heaven sold 50,000 copies in one day.
This made In Heaven take #1 on both the real-time and daily chart of Hanteo Information System, the album counting website, on the 28th. As of 5pm, the number of copies sold exceeded 50,000.
It was predicted that JYJ’s sales would set a record. From the 10th, pre-orders had poured in to record 300,000 copies. Currently, even though distribution companies are moving busily in order to meet the ordered amount, the supply is lacking.
This popularity is continuing online as well. The title song that Kim Jaejoong created, In Heaven, and the pre-released Get Out, and all of the other songs contained in the album ranked high on the digital music charts.
C-JeS Entertainment, in charge of management, revealed: “In order to meet the quantity of the ordered copies, we are putting pressure on the firm. It seems that they will go into additional production soon.”
