110727 Kim Jaejoong Receives Rice Wreathes At His Drama’s Press Conference

6.56 tons of rice were delivered in the name of Kim Jaejoong.

At the press conference of SBS’ new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Protect the Boss’, which was held at the SBS Drama Centre in Mokdong, Seoul on the 27th, Dreame rice wreathes support JYJ’s Jaejoong began arriving as early as 7 o’clock in the morning. Dreame has replaced ordinary flower wreathes, which are used once and then discarded, with rice wreathes which are donated to those in need after an event.

On this day, a total of 6.56 tons were delivered in the name of Kim Jaejoong. Korean fans were not the only ones to donate a rice wreathe, as Chinese, Japanese, Southeast Asian and even Spanish and Peruvian fans joined in as well. The thirteenth floor, on which the press conference was held, was filled with 80 sacks of rice that came from two 1-ton rice wreathes and five 500kg ones.

A representative stated, “This rice will be donated in Kim Jaejoong’s name to those in need,” and “This amount is enough to feed 54,558 people for one meal and 605 people for a month.

Meanwhile, JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong will be transforming into the prince of the financial world to play Cha Mu Won, the department head of DN Group’s Business Strategy team, in the new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Protect the Boss’, airing on the 3rd of August as the production to follow ‘City Hunter’.
