Ridicule and Rage: “The 101 Methods With Which to Drive Out JYJ From Broadcast”

The fans of the group JYJ (Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu) is running an advertisement that has satirized the reality in which JYJ cannot appear on public TV.

The JYJ fans who centered around DNBN, a fansite of TVXQ of which JYJ is from, has publicized a full-page advertisement titled “You say you’ll sing on TV? You?” The content of the advertisement is that which markets an imaginary book which is titled “The 101 Methods With Which to Drive Out JYJ From Broadcast.”

DNBN argued: “Currently JYJ is being blocked from appearing on variety programs of almost all media outlets due to an unfair interference with their activities“. They also relayed: “As fans who support JYJ, we will alert the public continuously about the unfair circumstances through not only this advertisement but also additional advertisements and the like, and will act to press for rectification.”

JYJ members, who are in a conflict about their contract with the TVXQ’s management company SM Entertainment, is still not free in their broadcast activities. They are concentrating on activities such as appearing on drams the productions of which are outsourced and holding concerts and appearing on musicals.

At the same time, JYJ who is in the middle of a World Tour will perform in Beijing, China, on May 7. They will begin with the concert in Vancouver, Canada on May 20 and will finish the North America 4-city tour on the May 22, 27, and June 3 in New Jersey, Los Angeles, and San Jose, and will finish up the long journey of the world tour in Pusan, on June 11 and 12.
