JaeChunSu to decide whether to start solo activities after December

The article isn’t allowed to be taken out from ONETVXQ forums so just click the link above to read it.

Well, honestly I don’t mind them doing solo activities after their activities in Japan have been completed. They are, after all, given the right to choose to do solo activities by the Court. It is only proper for them to make use and enjoy this new found freedom. I don’t see it either as something that “disruptive” to DBSK since they don’t have any schedules left after January. It is better for the three members to do solo activities temporarily while waiting for the final decision by the Court. I hope people won’t see this, if ever they do decide to do solo activities in after December, in a negative way and don’t believe any harsh statements that will surely come out from the “oppressor’s” side (you all know who I’m talking about). I hope people will understand the three members’ position and see this as something just similar to Yunho and Changmin’s solo activities as actors – the only difference is that they are still under SM and the three members are doing/will do it independent of the company that has been managing all their activities in the past years. Besides, the three members cannot afford to stay stagnant until this lawsuit is over. They need to do activities and earn money or else they might not be able to pay their daily expenses as well as expenses for the lawsuit. Remember, SM got most of DBSK’s earnings which means the members aren’t as rich as we perceived them to be.

However, I think the “signing with another agency” part is still impossible at the moment. I believe that the they cannot sign with another agency because they are still partly under SM. The Court only gave them freedom to do solo activities but their contract with SM is not fully canceled yet. Until the Court announces that their contract with SM is totally nullified, they can’t go and sign a contract with another agency. If they decide to sign with another agency while their contract with SM is still in effect, SM can (I’m not sure with this but this is what most likely will happen) sue them and there’s a chance that SM will win it. Having said that, I suggest if they really want to leave SM and find another company, they should wait till this lawsuit is over and done with just to be safe.
