DBSK’s new song “Toki Wo Tomete” November 8, 2009

The full (but unofficially released) version of DBSK’s new Japanese song “Toki Wo Tomete” which in English translates to “stop time” is now out. It was used for the CF of a Japanese product called Menard back in August. I don’t know if they will be releasing this as a single in the future but it was played at the end of the Tohoshinki Live 2009.

Like any other DBSK ballad, this song is nice. It did not strike me the way their other recent Japanese ballads (my favorites) like Doushite Kimi Wo Suki Ni Natte Shimattan Darou?, Bolero or Stand by U did but I like it. It’s really promising. Add to that, the Menard CF kept popping in my mind while I was listening to this so I guess that pretty much killed the mood a bit. Hahaha.
I have to say that the chorus and the first verse where JaeJoong sang followed by Junsu were my favorite parts of the song. I think JaeJoong and Junsu’s voice fits the song perfectly (not that the others don’t but the quality of JaeSu’s voices fit it best). I wonder if they’ll release this as a single?
To be honest … I agree that it isn’t as striking as Doushite or stand by u but it gave me chills for the sole purpose that the 5 of them are singing together and its new ~ I miss them.

@lovetohateme: i’m glad i got to know yr blog and to know you as a true and considerate fan of dbsk. to me when i suddenly heard some shocking news of them, i couldn’t control my emotions most of the time and don’t know what to do. but u always steady and know how to get strong points of them from that particular incident. i don’t know how to thank you enough as i can’t do that much for them.
my english is poor and so i often couldn’t express well. pls bare with me for that. thx u ^^
if someone asks me what is my desire right now, i will promptly response that i want to see dbsk members to be together again like last time, love and peace among them, healthy and can continue their activities with a nice entertainment company.

i agree that its not as striking as their other ballads. but the melody and their voices are really calm and soothing.

@ Jeannie and i likey: I miss them, too! I’m happy that even in this kind of situation, at least we still hear something from them to somehow soothe and calm us down.
@ pine: Aww.. you don’t have to thank me. I’m just sharing what I really think of every situation and I’m trying to stay positive and realistic as much as possible. Just believe in them. That’s all you have to do. You don’t have to do anything big. As long as you have faith in them, that’s enough for them to feel they’re loved and that we still believe in them no matter what.
