A big, big CONGRATULATIONS to our dear DONG BANG SHIN KI! Yes, they did not get the top spot but they’ve achieved their highest first day sales for a Japanese single today with more than 94K for their 28th Japanese single “Stand by U”. They just keep on improving every time that I can’t even imagine how big and successful they will be a few months from now when they release other singles. I am so proud of them I was in tears while looking at the Oricon ranking. This is definitely a good boost for their upcoming Tokyo Dome concert.

Yay! Congrats to the boys! Good news just keeps on coming for them. All of their “old” and their previous releases – whether DVDs, albums, or singles – are making it to the charts. This only proves that DBSK really has what we call “staying power”.
I’m so happy that 2009 is becoming a better year for them continuing on their success from 2008.
090630 Best Album Sales For First Half of 2009 – THSK #10
In the first half of 2009, Tohoshinki ranked #10 for best album sales in Japan for all albums released this year.
ORICON recently released the sale figures rankings for the first half of 2009, for albums, singles, DVDs and more, and Tohoshinki’s album “The Secret Code” came in tenth with sale figures of 250,000.
Mr Children ranked #1 with their album “SUPERMARKET FANTASY” with sales of 1,200,000, the only artiste to cross the 1,000,000 mark. EXILE’s ballad best album, “EXILE BALLAD BEST”, came in second. In third place, is DREAMS COME TRUE’s album “DO YOU DREAMS COME TRUE”.
Besides this, remiomen, Ayumi Hamasaki, unicorn and more ranked in the top 10. BoA’s American debut album that was released in Japan ranked #25 with sales of 130,000.
On the other hand, Tohoshinki’s 27th single “Share The World/We Are!” ranked #15 for singles sales in the first half of the year. All of Tohoshinki’s singles and albums released this year made the charts.

And another one…
090701 THSK’s Sales For First Half Of 2009 Brings in KRW$ 33,000,000,000
Japanese rankings chart, ORICON, revealed the “First half of 2009 Sales Ranking” 30 June. On this sales ranking chart, Tohoshinki ranked #8, bringing in ¥2,500,000,000 (KRW$33,000,000,000).
In first place is their nationally renowned group EXILE, with sales of ¥5,400,000,000, and second place goes to Arashi with sales of ¥4,400,000,000. SMAP and Koda Kumi follow Tohoshinki closely, ranking ninth and tenth place respectively.
As can be seen, Tohoshinki’s impact and status has reached that of the A-list standard.
The sales ranking this time only included the sales of albums, singles and DVDs released this year. If the profits included the sales they made through concerts and advertisement deals, Tohoshinki’s sales results would be even more spectacular. Their national tour will come to an end on the 4th and 5th July, at the Tokyo Dome. Currently, it is difficult to obtain tickets, and ticket prices through bidding, have soared above ¥1,000,000; proof of their indisputable popularity.
With regards to rumours of Tohoshinki disbanding:
On 26th & 27th June, they wrapped up their 3rd Asia Tour in Bangkok, but they will still have concert performances in July and August in Japan. A staff from their management company said, “Up until the end of the year, their performance schedules are extremely tight, and the members think that the rumours of disbanding are ridiculous. Tohoshinki has climbed the ranks of J-pop singers, from the lowest ranks to what they are today, a recognised J-pop group. The results of the ranking this time, also holds a lot of meaning to them.”Source: [将爱myyunho.com]

Man, why the hell would SM disband them if they are THIS famous and are bringing in THIS much money to the company?

The following are pictures of what the Bigeast version of “Stand by U” single looks like. Bigeast members are really lucky because their version of the CD always has something different and special with it.
The boys’ individual pictures are so lovely. I’m loving JaeJoong and Yoochun’s solo shots the most. I think this is actually the first time Yoochun’s long hair looked acceptable in my eyes. LOL.
Please look forward to a-nation^^
Everyone, I’m always thankful~

-Yuchun-
There were really a lot of people who came for the tour,
for that, thank you so much.
While standing on a big stage, we sang together with everyone,
and experienced the same feeling as everyone…
It made me really happy!
